Love. What is it? If you google the word LOVE, you will find there are so many meanings for this ONE word. Here a few- strong attraction, assurance of affection; warm attachment; benevolent, unselfish and loyal....and more. As a child, we used to sing the little song 'It's love, it's love, it's love that makes the world go round'. But is that really true? As an adult, I say it is 'MONEY that makes the world go round'. Love and No MONEY - Not a great combination, if you want to survive in this world. Well, what do you think about that?
In spite of what you believe about love and what you think of its meaning, think about this: You know those three foundational & inspirational elements of our continued human existence- FAITH, HOPE and LOVE? Well, I think there is something to those eternal Words: "Faith, Hope, Love- the greatest is Love". Here is the actual verse from the God's Word translation: "So these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the best one of these is love."
Ever wonder why LOVE is the fulcrum on which our world balances? Yet, the evidences of love seems to be soooooo lacking in our world today. Alas! Have we become a soul-less and love-less generation? The benevolent spirit seems to diminish dramatically as the years roll on by.
Let us not just think about the definition, but let us show what love means. The act of Love is simply caring, and 'sharing is caring'. Let us share a kind word, give encouragement or hope to someone who needs it today; give a smile to a stranger, give a hug (or air hug/fist bump/elbow greeting- COVID is still around!). Love does not have to be extravagant in substance, but the tsunami effect can be life changing. That is how powerful the act of Love is. One act of love can change the world. Yes, the world revolves on the actions of Love. Without it, we are extinct.

Love in its splendor
Is like the colors of the rainbow
It splashes across the pale tint of my heart
Giving rise to the stirrings of Life
Flashes of Joy burst forth in raptured brilliance
The radiance of its rays
